My Therapeutic Practice

I have always been someone who values authenticity, resilience, and staying true to myself — even in the face of adversity. Those experiences have shaped both who I am personally and the kind of therapist I strive to be.

My path toward becoming a counsellor began after experiencing the impact of feeling genuinely seen and understood for the first time by my own therapist. That experience sparked a deep passion for helping others feel supported, accepted, and empowered within their own lives and relationships.

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Vancouver Island University and went on to earn my Master’s Degree through Yorkville University. Throughout my education and clinical development, I found myself especially drawn to couples and sex therapy after recognizing the significant gap in how our society teaches people to navigate healthy relationships, communication, intimacy, individuality and sexuality.

I am passionate about continuing to grow as a therapist and place a strong value on ongoing education. In addition to my graduate training, I have completed specialized sex therapy training through University of Guelph as I work toward becoming certified through American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists.

My goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where clients feel safe exploring challenges, building insight, and creating meaningful change in their lives and relationships.

Outside of work, I can almost always be found exploring the beauty and vastness of the Yukon. In the summer, I enjoy gardening, hiking and paddleboarding, while winters are often spent skiing or snowshoeing through the trails. More often than not, my gentle therapy dog, Archie, is right by my side for the adventure.

I strongly believe in the importance of self-care and personal growth, both within and outside of the therapy room. Prioritizing my own wellbeing allows me to show up fully present, grounded, and authentic for the clients I work with.

When I’m not outdoors, you can usually find me creating delicious meals in the kitchen or curled up with a cozy video game and a quiet evening at home.
